Why do people blame Hitler for starting WW2?

Hitler was very reluctant to invade or even bomb England, giving him the benefit of doubt I would say that the rest of the world was punishing Germany beyond decent human treatment and part of what was driving Adolph Hitler was revenge and retaliation. No such thing as a pure in heart country in this age!
